FC Dallas Announces 2026 Special Olympics Unified Team Roster

FRISCO, Texas (May 5, 2026) – FC Dallas today announced the 2026 roster for the FC Dallas Unified Team supported by Gallagher and UMB Bank. Through a partnership with Special Olympics Texas, the FC Dallas Unified Team brings individuals with and without intellectual disabilities together to play on one team for a unified soccer experience. All team members have signed two-year contracts with the club.

“This is one of the things that I am most proud of here,” said FC Dallas President Dan Hunt. “The environment that we create and what this does is change people's lives. To get to see the fun and the joy around the game is really exciting for me.”

The FC Dallas Unified program provides a unique, professional experience. Team members train weekly, sign contracts, participate in marketing day, play home and away matches at MLS Stadiums and more. The 2026 squad marks the eleventh-straight season FC Dallas has partnered with Special Olympics Texas to field a Unified Team.

This year’s FC Dallas Unified Team will play two matches: 

• May 9 vs. Real Salt Lake Unified Team at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas
• Aug. 1 vs. the LA Galaxy Unified Team at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California

“This is something that I’ve never been a part of before and it is a dream come true,” said FC Dallas Unified Team Athlete Mauricio Reyna. “I look forward to making the most of it.”
