FC Dallas Triumphs at Home in 1-0 Win over LAFC

FRISCO, Texas (Sept. 26, 2026) – FC Dallas (13-6-8, 47 points) defeated LAFC (11-9-8, 41 points) 1-0 following Osaze Urhoghide's game-winning goal on Saturday night from Toyota Stadium. FC Dallas extended its unbeaten run to six games and moved into second place in the Western Conference.

MR. CENTURION 
Goalkeeper Jonathan Sirois made his 100th MLS regular season appearance tonight, recording three saves in his second shutout win for the Hoops. FC Dallas acquired Sirois from CF Montréal on Feb. 2, 2026, and has seven wins in 11 appearances this season. Dallas recorded back-to-back shutouts for the first time since 2024.

LEAPING TO SECOND
Defender Osaze Urhoghide scored his second goal of the season, tying his career high of two goals scored in 2025. Urhoghide leads the team in aerial duels (98), clearances (30), challenges (105) and balls won (4). Dallas ranks second in MLS in headed goals with nine, and the club has scored four goals off corner kicks this season. 

A VALIENT ASSIST
Midfielder Joaquín Valiente recorded his 13th assist of the season on Urhoghide’s goal off a corner kick. Dallas is 9-0-1 when Joaquín Valiente assists, and has recorded an assist in eight of the last 11 games. He currently ranks third in club history for assists in a single season, tying Jason Kreis (2000), David Ferreira (2010), and Mauro Díaz (2016).

HEY DJ
Forward Daniel Job made his MLS debut off the bench in the 80th minute of the match, becoming the 11th player to make their debut this season for the club. Job joined Dallas after half a season with Kongsvinger, where he made 20 appearances, scored eight goals and recorded nine assists.
