The FC Dallas Academy heads to Nashville, Tennessee this weekend to compete for glory at the MLS NEXT Cup playoffs. FC Dallas will compete in the four main age groups: U15, U16, U17 and U19 beginning this Saturday, June 14 (the U13 and U14 teams qualified but will not be competing as the playoffs are optional for their age groups).
In terms of format, the 2025 MLS NEXT Cup playoffs are a single-elimination tournament that includes 32 teams per age group. Matches consist of two 45-minute halves followed by penalties in the event of a tie (except for the U15 age group which plays 40-minute halves). The FCD U15s and U16s play their round of 32 matches on Saturday, June 14 while the U17s and U19s start their campaigns on Sunday.
Streaming: 19 games (including all four championship matches) will be streamed live on MLS’ YouTube page (however none of FC Dallas' first-round matches have been included in the streaming schedule).
