Tuesday, October 11: Despite loss, Klinsmann begins to identify his key players (MLSSoccer.com)
In postgame comments following a 1-0 loss to Ecuador, U.S. Men's National Team coach Jurgen Klinsmann singled out five players who will figure prominently in the team moving forward. Of the five mentioned was Brek Shea, the FC Dallas' midfielder who has started in five consecutive games under Klinsmann. Klinsmann pays special attention to the chemistry that is developing between Shea and Timothy Chandler, the left back who currently plays for FC Nuremberg in Germany.
