Forward Nicholas Simmonds scored his third goal of the season in the 52nd minute of the match. Simmonds has now scored in back-to-back matches for the first time in his professional career.

Midfielder Lucas Martins made his club debut in the 84th minute as a sub. Martins signed with North Texas SC on July 17, 2026. The Brazilian reunites with São Caetano teammate Leandro Gonçalves who joined North Texas earlier this year.
