Community Grants

Purpose

The purpose of the FC Dallas Foundation’s Community Action Grant program presented by Gallagher is to support nonprofit organizations that focus on promoting healthy, active lifestyles for underserved communities in the North Texas area. Each grant recipient receives a $10,000 grant from the FC Dallas Foundation. Applications for the 2026 Grant Cycle are now open.

Requirements

Applicants must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the following requirements:

  1. Provide opportunities for underserved individuals and communities
  1. Serve those in the local North Texas community
  1. Focus on nutrition, healthy activity and/or education

Timeline

June 1, 2026: Applications released

July 10, 2026: Applications due

August 2026: Applications reviewed by the FC Dallas Foundation Board

September 2026: Grantees announced and funds distributed

September 5, 2026: Recognition of grantees at an FC Dallas match

April 30, 2027: Grantee documentation due
